After each word you play, a card pops up showing what the word means. How long should it stay on screen?
Press a tile and drag across adjacent tiles to spell a word (3+ letters), then release to submit. Drag backwards to undo a letter. Longer words and rarer letters score more.
Words of 5+ letters drop a green tile (2× word score); 7+ letters drop a gold tile (3×).
A game lasts 3 minutes. Words of 6+ letters add 4 seconds back — long words buy time. Reading a definition pauses the clock.
Short words (3 letters) risk setting a tile on fire. Burning tiles sink one row after every word — if one reaches the bottom, the game ends. Douse a fire by using that tile in a word. The glow gets fiercer the deeper it sinks.
Rearranges all letters, but feeds the fire — use sparingly.
